Schaduwman had made the suggestion, that is would be nice to meet the members of the bikerforum-weekend once again. But it is hard to get all the members free on one particular date. So a tour was suggested. A list with biker-forum-members was made, for riding a tour from St. Willebrord. Because Schaduwman had only place for a small number of members for a barbeque in his garden, the list was not too long. It was only by invitation and not a general announcement in the forum itself. So a date was set and the invitations were sent by mail. Of course some members had other obligations. In total there were 11 members participating, including Schaduwman himself.

Because I live all the way up north, (280 km) I had to leave home reasonably early in order to be at the first gatheringplace in time. By 07.20 I was on my bike and in 50 minutes I drove to Hogersmilde, where I waited at a service-station for Rudyhadee and Henks. With the three of us we drove along the Smildervaart and reached the highway near Meppel. Then we move on to Staphorst, where Jelle joins us. With the four of us we drive all the way to St. Willebrord. Underway, we have one stop at a service-station, to fuel-up and to jack-up the nicotine-level of half the group.

Right after eleven we arrive in St. Willebrord. We are welcomed by Schaduwman and his wife, RakkiRauw, Boxer-Rinus and Dolle Hond with his girlfriend Natasja. The coffee is ready and the sausage-rolls are very nice.

Around noon we leave for a tour through the country of Marijntje Gijzen. Near a ferry-house by the shores in the province of Zeeland we have a break. Here we meet up with Ninjawil, who joins us from here. We are almost complete. Around five we are back on base. The preparations for the barbeque are in progress and I help out in the kitchen, to get it sorted.

Around six, Panrider Roelof arrives. We are complete for a little while. Rudyhadee and Henks want to ride back the same day and would be pleased if they reach home before it's dark. They are the first ones to have something to eat, before they leave. Then we say goodbye to the brothers, we wave good-bye and then we have a pleasant evening around the barbeque. Ninjawil has to work the next day, so he won't make it too late either. We also wave him good-bye with the entire group that is left. RakkiRauw will sleep at home, but he lives close by. We also send him off. Mrs. Schaduwman leaves for the camping with the kids. Then Dolle Hond and his girlfriend Natasja will spend the night in the only hotel available in St. Willebrord. We are left with only 5 persons. Jelle and Boxer-Rinus will sleep on the sofa's and for the rest there is a bed available.

The next morning we have breakfast with the five of us. We send Boxer-Rinus off and then we drive with the four of us to Etten-Leur, where we have a guided tour through the business of Schaduwman. Then the three of us leave into the direction of the north. Right after the Ketelbrug we fuel up and say goodbye to Jelle already. Near Emmeloord, we take the left lane and Jelle takes the right one. Here our roads split.

We can look back on a lovely weekend, with great weather, pleasant company and wunderful scenery.
