In the morning, all bikes were tested for soundpolution of the exhaust and the transponder was added. Then we all went to the press-room for a briefing about rules on the circuit, knowledge of flags and how to take the curves. |
|
The first session we drove in groups behind a marshall, the track was still wet, so topspeed was only 80 km/h. Then we had some theory while the marshalls were watching the tapes, so they knew whom to put in a certain group. |
|
So the second session we were with 4 ladies, but after passing the pits, there were only 2 left, so open the throttle and topspeed was 150 km/h. Here in the first hairpin, I had my right footpedal on the ground. The photographer was just too late taking a shot of that. |

In the afternoon there was a possibility to be the pillion of one of the racers present. There was a raffle and I was one of lucky ones. |
After that we did some practicing in improved bike-training, like the slalom, sitting on the fuelltank, sitting in the pillion-seat, with our knees on the buddyseat, as an amazone on the bike, we all did it. Without hands on the handlebar driving over a bike-tyre, just open the throttle, and spread hands and feet, wonderful feeling to be in control. At the end of the afternoon we had the see-saw. The day ended with a barbeque.
