Royal visit.

For quite some time now, I get regular updates for the site of Rudyhadee. It all started with his story about him going from Paris to Moscou and back together with 130 other Citroën Traction Avants in 1984. Now he had plans to turn his 1972 BMW 75/5 and turn it into a caféracer. Seems like fun to put the metamorfosis online .

Chores to do.
I've just spent 3 weeks enjoying myself with my husband and the bikes in the United Kingdom of Great Britain. When I get home, there are serveral documents for an other update in the mailbox. Unfortunatly Rudy will have to wait, because first my story about our vacation will be put online in both Dutch and English, before it is his turn. I had already written in his guestbook, that I was very curious about what the bike ahd become and today he dropped by with JanBMW, to show me the "work of his hands". Not only showing, but hearing also. I admire people, that are able to change a bike and get it running as well. It has a fabulous sound and it looks fab as well. Just simple, sober, no fuss.

What a weather.
The gentlemen had a tour around the north planned, with different stops. They had not counted on this weather, because they really had a lot of moist coming to them. But the pan with soup was ready, because I knew they were coming and of course there was fresh coffee, because it was made on their arrival. Then there were the stories of the past few weeks and we had a peek at the holiday-pictures. Later in the afternoon the men leave again for their next stop. I made a few pictures of Rudy his treasure. I only could not spot that small sticker saying: Mooi nie 'n Japanner nie ( meaning never a Japanese one). He must have forgotten it.
